SureSmile is a translucent, removable aligner system that straightens your teeth without irritating metal brackets or wires. Rather, the clear trays gently straighten your smile by changing the aligners out at home every two weeks.
Our digital technology uses 3D virtual scans of your teeth to map out your tooth movement. They are no gooey, uncomfortable impressions needed! SureSmile treatment starts off with a new patient consultation. During this appointment, we’ll take a series of impressions of your teeth and discuss your candidacy for clear braces. Then, we’ll send that information to SureSmile labs, where they’ll work up a digital treatment plan.
After SureSmlie sends your treatment plan back to our office, we’ll have you stop by to preview the digital simulation. The virtual preview allows you to see the month-by-month progression of your tooth movement so that you know what to expect. If you like the results of your digital mock-up, we can order your aligners.

Will Insurance Cover SureSmile?
How long do I need to wear my aligners each day?
It’s best to wear your SureSmile orthodontic trays as much as possible. Plan to only remove them when you’re eating or drinking anything other than water, as well as when you brush and floss. The longer you leave them in each day, the more effective it is.
How long is the total treatment time?
The length of your overall treatment will depend on how much tooth movement there needs to be. Minor cases can be completed in about a year or less. More severe or complicated cases can take closer to two years.
SureSmile works best for patients ages 18 and up; adults of all ages qualify, as there’s no cut-off.
How often do I need to visit your office?
We’ll schedule you for a brief visit about once a month to monitor your progress and deliver the next set of trays to progress your tooth movement.
How should I care for my clear orthodontic trays?
Remove them regularly to brush and floss your teeth, cleaning your aligners with a toothbrush and tap water. Avoid hot water, as it could cause the aligners to warp. You can also soak your trays in a denture cleansing solution once a day to help lift debris deposits.
